Sun Wukong

Character	Information
Sun Wukong	The titular character of the game. The "Victorious Fighting Buddha" who has a plethora of abilities, spells, and transformations.

Sun Wukong, the titular Monkey King, is the main character of Black Myth: Wukong. You get to play as Wukong at the start of the game, with all his powers, as he confronts Erlang, the Sacred Divinity and his celestial army.

The Destined One

Character	Information
The Destined One	A suspiciously similar-looking monkey. The Destined One undertakes a journey to retrieve Wukong's Sacred Relics from Yaoguai.

The Destined One is a Monkey who bears a surprising resemblance to Sun Wukong and is the actual character who you will play at the start of Chapter 1.

Chapter 1 Supporting Characters

Character	Information
Mysterious Old Man	A mysterious and sagely old man who guides Wukong on his journey. It's possible that he's Puti Zushi, Wukong's mentor from Journey to the West.
The Keeper of the Black Wind Mountain	The Keeper of the Black Wind Mountain is the first supporting character Wukong encounters at the start of the game and teaches him the Immobilize spell to deal with the Bullguard. ▶️How to Beat Bullguard
Shen Monkey	A Monkey that Wukong saves from a Snake Patroller Yaoguai. The Shen Monkey is one of the Zodiacs and will allow Wukong to upgrade the healing potency of his Gourds.

Chapter 2 Supporting Characters

Headless Monk	A headless monk playing a Sanxian. The Headless Monk leads Wukong through Yellow Wind Ridge through Chapter 2, often bursting into song.
Man-in-Stone	The Man-in-Stone is a curious individual encountered in Fight Valley in Chapter 2. He tasks Wukong to defeat the Mother of Stones, and becomes a boss. Defeating him turns him into a merchant. ▶️Man-in-Stone Quest Guide
Xu Dog	The Xu Dog is an eccentric healer and is one of the Zodiacs. Helping him allows Wukong to craft Celestial Medicines using Mind Cores that increase Wukong's Health, Mana, and Stamina.
Yellow-Robed Squire	A warthog that Wukong encounters in Fright Valley. Helping the Yellow-Robed Squire allows Wukong to enter the secret Kingdom of Sahali.▶️Boar Quest Guide

Bodhissattva Lingji	Bodhissattva Lingji is the true identity of the Headless Monk. After Wukong defeats the Yellow Wind Sage, the Headless Monk retrieves his head and returns to his enlightened form. ▶️How to Beat Yellow Wind Sage

Chapter 3 Supporting Characters

Character	Information
The Third Prince	The Third Prince is a noble trapped in the Pagoda Realm in Chapter 3 who tasks Wukong to retrieve the spirits of his captains, who are now twisted into monstrosities such as Captain Wise-Voice. ▶️How to Beat Captain Wise-Voice
Turtle General	The gigantic Turtle General is also the titular Turtle Island in Bitter Lake and is where Wukong fights the celestial courtier Kang-Jing-Star.
Chen Loong	Chen Loong is an old Loong and a Zodiac that Wukong encounters in the North Shore of the Bitter Lake in Chapter 3. Defeating him allows you to start a quest that unlocks the Ruyi Scroll where other Zodiacs such as Shen Monkey and Xu Dog reside.
The Fox	The Fox is a tragic character whose corpse Wukong encounters in the Forest of Felicity in Chapter 3. The spirit grants Wukong the ability to transform into a fox which starts a quest to find the scholar who killed her.
The Keeper of the New West	The Keeper of the New West is a feathered divine deity of wind who teaches Wukong how to transform into a bat in Chapter 3.

Erlang, Sacred Divinity	Erlang, Sacred Divinity is a god and the first boss of the game. Aided by the Four Heavenly Kings, Erlang manages to seal Wukong in stone.

Whiteclad Noble	The Whiteclad Noble is a boss that Wukong encounters in Chapter 1 in the Marsh of White Mist, and is the first antagonist that calls Wukong an imposter.▶️How to Beat Whiteclad Noble

Chapter 3 Character Boss

Character	Information
Green-Capped Martialist	The Green-Capped Martialist is the brother of a Treasure Hunter looking for a Melon Field, and fights Wukong to test him.
Yin Tiger	The Yin Tiger is a blacksmith resident of the Ruyi Scroll and one of the Zodiacs who can upgrade Wukong's Armor. Challenging and defeating him unlocks an extra Curio slot.

Zhu Bajie	Zhu Bajie is one of Wukong's travelling companions from Journey to the West encountered in Chapter 3. Due to the machinations of the Second Sister, he becomes enthralled and fights Wukong during Chapter 4.
